One review said it smelled. Yes it does! Smells like the oil from a car. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and it still smells. It's ok for short spells of traction when you just don't have the time to sit by the door. It does not replace the value of the over the door unit which is a far better device. This is ok for short term use though if you can get beyond the smell.

This is a great device that really helps - it also comes in different sizes however no mention of that anywhere in its descripition. So I got one of regular size and fits exactly as it is shown on the image (a big gap between the ends) - i dont know if this is ok or not. My only complaint is why there is no mention to the 3 sizes the product supports (regular 13-16, large 17-20, xlarge 21-24) as displayed on its box.

The traction unit gives me full control, with a hand pump. It gently takes the weight of my skull off of my arthritic neck, thereby relieving the pressure on the nerves and relieving my hedaches
