Mesothelioma actually considered a symptom, not areal disease. Mesothelioma can at last lead to mesothelioma cancer. This kind of cancer affects the lungs and respiration functions in the human body. In some cases, it may also be found lining the intestinal cavity. Mesothelioma can also cause liver and intestinal cancers.

The main cause of Mesothelioma, is the prolonged exposure to asbestos. Asbestos was a standard building material in the 20 th century. Army staff were exposed to asbestos in the 1940s-1970s.
